MARC RANDALL PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT AND CEO OF FORCE10 NETWORKS

MILPITAS, Calif., June 30, 2003 — Force10 Networks, Inc., a developer of high density Ethernet switch/routers, purpose-built for Data Center, has appointed Mr. Marc Randall, current Senior Vice President of Engineering, to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. P.K. Dubey, the previous CEO and President will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board.

He has over 20 years of experience in senior management in the networking business, which has provided him with the leadership skills that will serve Force10 well in the years ahead.”

Prior to joining Force10 Networks, Mr. Randall spent seven years at Cisco Systems as vice president of engineering where he focused on the development and extension of Cisco’s high-end routing platforms. Under his leadership the Cisco 7500 was recognized as one of the ten most important products to be developed in the valley, according to Network Computing Magazine. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Randall spent eleven years at Amdahl Corporation as a senior manager responsible for software development in the Processor Products division.
