Delivering New Economics to Ethernet Networks
The next big thing in networking is fast emerging--helping applications dynamically adjust to load. Referred to as Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) just a few years ago, it is now converging with cloud computing and cloud networking. The tools are now in place to usher in a new way of thinking about making the traditionally static networks much more ‘dynamic.’ Such a network itself could respond automatically to requests for more, or fewer resources, provisioning network access, security and QoS, all without human intervention.
